Ice Instructions
Two Ice Therapy Options
Option #1: Ice Pack

Use a flexible, reusable ice pack that will conform to the contours of your body. - Use a moist paper towel between the ice pack and your skin.
- Do NOT place ice directly on your skin
- Apply ice pack to injured area for 20 minutes
- Expect it to feel uncomfortable for the first 5 minutes until it numbs.
- Wait 1 hour before repeating.
- Repeat as Doctor recommends, usually 3-5x per day for 3-5 days.
Option #2: Ice Massage
- Fill foam cup with water and freeze over night.
- After water has frozen solid, chip top rim of foam cup away exposing about an inch of ice.
- You now have an insulated handle (the foam cup) to use as you apply the ice
- Rub the ice on the injured area gently massaging the area. The ice will melt and become smooth and easy to glide over the skin.
- Always keep the ice moving. Do NOT hold ice in one spot
- Used a towel to collect dripping water from melting ice
- Apply ice for 10 minutes
- Wait at least 1 hour before repeating
- Repeat as Doctor recommends, usually 3-5x per day for 3-5 days
